Old buttons, new functions

Author: Alicia

This is part of our moving adventure! To start at the beginning, go here.

So, you know that button in your car that shows the car with an arrow going around on the inside? That is not for recirculation. It’s actually a cat agitation suppression button. If there is no significant elevation change going on, and the road is good, yet the car kitties suddenly start losing their minds, the cat agitation suppression button should do the trick. Especially if you happen to be going by something particularly nasty-smelling, like construction sites or oil fields.

For those who have asked after our particular car kitties, you’ll be glad to know that they are hanging in there! Day One was filled with incredibly stinky stress poo, panting, yowling, and was finished off with glazed, unhappy kitty eyes. We are now at Day Eight, and with the exception of altitude-related discomfort, we have proceeded to this:

Snuggling in the car

New world TV, every day!
New world TV, every day!

So fear not, the kitties are mostly ok. They’ll have a full day to recover, as we have landed in Idaho Falls for the night with the intention of driving, sans kitties, into Yellowstone National Park tomorrow. Some views from the road, followed by another reassuring kitty picture:

Hope for better bridges tomorrow, Mike.
